02/23/08 Web Server Switch

I had to move my website from one server to another this weekend.  The host I was using has had a lot of system outages.  If anyone notices any problems that I have overlooked I would really appreciate an email about it.  I do like the new version of the PHPBB forum though!  Thanks.

02/14/08 GPS DATA LOGGER PROJECT

I have posted a GPS data recorder project based that is based on the work of Steven (www.semifliud.com).

Steven was gracious enough to allow me to post my version here.  His project is based on his Delorme Tripmate with Time and Speed.

I have modified his version to use the Microchip PIC18F2550, Garmin GPS-25LVC receiver and a AGM1264 graphic LCD.

The QVGA LCD is now up and running on a PIC18F4680 microcontroller.  Go to the Graphics LCD page to see a video of it.

The contrast and brightness looks great.   I'm definitely going to use these in future projects!  I have provided a schematic that shows the proper interface between the PIC18F4680 and the TS8001.  You can find it on the Graphic LCD page.

The Source Code Page now includes RS-232 and PWM modules for the NXP LPC2148.

On the PIC Micro Page I have posted a schematic and source code for my Thermocouple Temperature controller.

On the TAI-8570 Page I have added the source code for reading the AAG Electronica barometer.

Due to a constraint with the webhost I am using I had to upload the source code as either a PDF or HTML document.

I suggest copying and pasting the source into WordPad and saving it with the proper extension. 

I'll be adding photos, source code and schematics of my weather station soon.
